From June 1st 2009 this store will be open from
Monday to Friday only, 9.00 am to 5.30 pm and will
be closed on Saturdays.
Our Derby Apple
Premium Reseller store is open on Saturdays
from 9.30 am to 5.30 pm and on Monday to Friday
from 10.00 am to 6.00 pm.
Our full range of products is also stocked in Derby
with an equally knowledgeable and friendly team,
many of whom I am sure you will know and Matthew
- who looks after our store in Alfreton - will be
there every other Saturday along with Patrick, our
Derby manager.

Group Ltd & Gordon Harwood Computers join forces
Square Group Ltd, the highly
successful Apple reseller based in London and High
Wycombe, has today announced it is taking on the
future operations of Gordon Harwood Computers (GHC)
based in Derbyshire.
Supplying Apple products and services for 26 years,
by way of mail order, web and retail, GHC has an
Apple Authorised Reseller store in Alfreton and
an Apple Premium Reseller store in Derby city centre’s
historic Cathedral Quarter.
With a reputation for providing first class service
to its customer base over the years, GHC concluded
that to thrive in the future they would need to
be part of a larger company – and in particular
a company focussed on Apple products and services
and GHC recognised that Square were most able to
provide the required framework.
Giles Harwood, Managing Director of Gordon Harwood
Computers Ltd said:
“After having founded GHC in 1982 I am delighted
that one of the most forward thinking and resourceful
independent companies in the Mac market has - in
these particularly difficult economic times - recognised
the future growth potential of GHC, and will be
building on the foundations we first laid all those
years ago.”
Square Group is planning on injecting fresh vigour
and investment into GHC, building on the organisation’s
previous successes in the areas of EPOS & telecoms
within the Mac market.

in the Midlands. For some time now we have been
actively progressing opportunities to open a service
operation to cover both this area and Northern England,
primarily to support our growing Apple based hotel
in room entertainment solution. Clearly hotels need
24/7/365 support which, with the addition of the
engineering team from GHC, we will now be able to
provide this across the whole region. They’re
a great team and we’re very happy for them
to become a part of Square.”

Derby Store Manager takes part in CinqueCento Challenge
for Cancer Research UK
A group of friends from Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire
are attempting to complete a 5,000 mile journey
around Europe within 7 days, starting on the 9th
February 2008.
The
route takes the teams through the UK, France, Spain,
Italy, Switzerland, Germany, Netherlands and Belgium
- in undoubtedly difficult winter weather conditions
- using second-hand FIAT Cinquecentos each bought
for less than £400.
All in support of Cancer Research UK.
We are proud that Patrick, our Derby Store manager,
is participating in such a worthwhile event and

GHC Apple Premium Reseller Retail Store - Now Open in
Derby
We
are pleased to announce GHC has taken premises in the
heart of Derby’s Cathedral Quarter shopping area
for our new Apple Premium Reseller retail store, which
will operate in addition to our showroom in Alfreton.
The
opening day featured Censored
playing live in the store.
The location has been chosen for its easy access by foot
from the City centre - with proximity to the City’s
main bus stops. And, for drivers, the ring road is close,
with adjacent on-street parking and several public car
parks nearby - including the award-winning ParkSafe
secure location. .
