Splicecom maximiser
System Hardware

The Splicecom maximiser hardware is designed to be modular, extendable and easy to manage. 3 core components are all that is required to build a single system be it Standalone or a multi site solution. All requirements are satisfied from a simple range of 3 components. For smaller standalone sites or for small remote offices the 4140 Call Server is all that is required.

Splicecom Maximiser 5100
Datasheet :

5100 Call Server
Providing 'out of the box' physical connectivity for up to 4 Power over Ethernet (PoE) IP and 8 analogue telephones (which can be  further expanded to 16), each 5100 Call Server is capable of supporting up to 500 IP or analogue extensions.

The integrated Voice Processing system comes with 4 voicemail ports (which can be further expanded to 16) and 1,500 hours of voicemail storage, also includes basic Auto Attendant and Meet Me Conferencing. Constructed on a Linux platform and built around an LDAP database, the 5100 Call Server module provides the foundation of the Maximiser system, hosting call routing capabilities, voice processing, H.323 Gateway & Gatekeeper, a SIP Proxy Server and integral Apache Web Server.

Supplied with an initial capability to support up to 4 Basic Rate ISDN telephone lines (two Basic Rate ISDN connections), trunk capacity can be expanded further via Basic Rate ISDN (BRI), Primary  Rate ISDN (PRI), DPNSS and IP Trunks.

Datasheet :

5315/5330 Phone Modules
These modules provide connectivity for up to 15 or 30 analogue telephones modems or fax machines respectively.

Connectivity between the 5100 Call Server and the 5315/5330 Phone Modules is via the 10/100Mbps Link Ports on the front of the modules. It is this LAN connectivity that enables Phone Modules to be located anywhere on the Ethernet network where a connection point exists.

The Phone Module allows a single CAT 5 (or better) cable to replace up to 30 conventional pairs of copper cable. The provision of four further LAN ports, supporting Power over Ethernet (PoE), allows the distribution of local IP Phones as well. A USB interface allows the use of a USB WiFi adapter as an alternative to a wired LAN link.

Datasheet :

5108 Call Server
Extends the cost-effective reach of maximiser down to the remote branch office of larger organisations and meets the standalone telephony requirements of smaller businesses.

Providing the same core functionality as the 5100 Call Server within a single, half-size enclosure, it provides physical connectivity for 4 analogue and 4 IP telephone extensions. A single Basic Rate ISDN (BRI) trunk (2 channels) is supplied as standard. This can be
expanded through the addition of another BRI interface. IP Trunks are also supported.
