Business Telephone Range

The Proactive Communications Station (PCS) - is a 21st Century Business Telephone Application which reflects the intuitive use and operation associated with modern Mobile Phones, but delivered with today's business requirements in mind.

The PCS application can be supplied as software only ( PCS 60 ) - for Apple Macintosh, Windows and Linux operating systems, or running on a selection of dedicated IP hardware terminals: The PCS 560/570, is a fully featured IP desk-phone with a dynamic user interface and an intuitive graphical colour LCD menu system. The PCS 410 is a full colour, touchscreen enabled phone which is ideally suited to the presentation of third party multimedia and web based content directly on the handset. The PCS 100 is a dedicated, IP System Phone with a traditional design.

To compliment the above range of IP terminals, the PCS 520 and PCS 5 are traditional business analogue phones which can optionally be operated in partner-ship, with a computer running the PCS60 software application (in call-control mode, as opposed to 'full soft-phone mode'), to complete the range.

All physical PCS terminals can be desk or wall mounted.

PCS 410

The PCS 410 provides all the facilities associated with a top of the range digital phone for making and receiving calls. It then extends the control and information associated with these calls through an integrated, full-size VGA (Video Graphics Array), LCD touch screen.

Where business phones have traditionally provided context sensitive keys around a small display to aid use, the PCS 410 provides a far larger, context sensitive screen. This includes the ability to display IPVideo/Web Cam images and share graphical information whilst at the same time talking. For example, a call from a door entry phone could trigger the image from an adjacent IPVideo or Web Cam to be displayed on the screen of the PCS 410.

PCS 60

The PCS 60 is the software only version of the Proactive Communications Station. Compatible with Windows, Mac OS X and Linux it can be installed on the User's desktop or Laptop PC and can be used to “partner” the PCS 100, PCS 10, PCS 5 or existing Analogue Phones. Alternatively, when a USB handset, or headset/microphone –- or even a Bluetooth headset in the case of the Mac OS X variant - is connected to the PC it can be used as an IP Softphone.

PCS 100

The PCS 100 is an IP Phone presented as a conventional business telephone, which compares favourably with dedicated Digital System Phones provided on traditional PBX and Key Systems. The PCS 100 delivers Caller ID, a dedicated Direct Station Select/Busy Lamp Field and eight context sensitive keys for simple and easy access to system features.

PCS 520

The PCS 520 has been specifically developed for SpliceCom, to meet the traditional telephony needs demanded of a maximiser system phone. Extremely easy to use thanks to its clear display, ten pre-programmed system function keys and integrated voicemail management, the PCS 520 is a stylishly designed and fully featured terminal.

PCS 5

The PCS 5 is an attractively priced, business quality, desktop phone. Offering integrated voicemail management keys and system feature guide, the PCS 5 is SpliceCom's entry-level phone being ideally suited for both standalone, traditional, telephony requirements, or to partner the PCS 50.

Analogue Phone

Many businesses will have already deployed large quantities of Analogue phones for use with their old telephone systems. In most cases these can be re-used with maximiser –- and further energised through the use of a PCS 50 running as a “'partner'” to the phone.
